Rabbi Y. Loschak, director of Chabad of Santa Barbara, lights a giant menorah made of Lego blocks at LuCumbre Plaza on Tuesday night. Hundreds of bundled-up adults and children listened to the rabbi deliver words of inspiration to mark the beginning of the Hanukkah festival. Visitors partook in traditional Hanukkah foods, such as hot latkes, and viewed a magic show by Amos Levkovitch.
